This evening on East Third Street at Sears Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio, four paintings that are copies of master works will be unveiled on the sides of buildings. The paintings were done by youths in Montgomery County's Juvenile Court system. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the painting program with Brittini Long of the Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
The Bark Park in Montgomery County will be hosting a Bake Sale, from 10am until 2pm on June 1st. Spokesperson Tanya North says there will be dog-friendly activities throughout the day. This Friday evening, acclaimed actor Hal Holbrook will bring his fabled "Mark Twain Tonight" show to the Aronoff Center in downtown Cincinnati. The 88-year-old Holbrook has been portraying the author and humorist for decades. Holbrook tells WNKU's Steve Hirschberg that he began doing Twain in New York when he was a struggling young actor who needed to put food on the table. Holbrook says someone suggested that he do Twain as a one-man show.
