Crosstown Shootout free of criminal charges but full of emotional charge

The Crosstown Shootout between Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati began its rivalry decades ago .This year a bench clearing brawl ended with suspension for some players on both teams.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters considered pressing criminal charges, a decision that was reversed following an investigation which included interviewing coaches and players and reviewing videos of the game.WNKU's Cheri Lawson asked Cincinnati sports psychologist Dr. Barbara Walker to talk about the emotional implications of the game.
