President Obama's mandate to reduce our dependence on foreign oil 33% by 2025 has sent private researchers racing to find the next renewable energy source. The sustainability of biofuels has been the topic of debate because it often requires a large amount of energy to turn the feedstock, which is usually corn, into fuel. But new advances in cellulosic feedstocks like grass and beets may change the face of renewable energy. WNKU's Sara Niccum spoke with Roger Ford to find out more.
