Highland Heights, Kentucky – The Cincinnati Reds' Chris Dickerson, with the help of some of his baseball friends, has set up an environmental awareness organization called "Players for the Planet". As part of Earth Day later this month, the group is working on a project with a Georgetown, Kentucky electronics recycling company called Global Environmental Services. Company spokeswoman Lindsey Richardson talked about the project with WNKU's Steve Hirschberg.
" Cincinnati, Ohio" – The people at the front desk won't be shushing anyone this Saturday night, at the Mercantile Library's anniversary celebration. Director Albert Pyle says it was founded before the public library, and is the oldest membership library west of the Allegheny Mountains.
