17 Oct Cincinnati Natives The Afghan Whigs Announce 20th Anniversary Edition Of Black Love

Earlier today, The Afghan Whigs announced that they will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their masterpiece Black Love with an expanded and remastered version which will include studio jam sessions, previously unreleased material and outtakes that we’ve never heard before!

Remember this gem?

This comes as the perfect time for the holidays as the album will hit shelves on Record Store Day,November 25th AKA Black Friday  on Rhino Records. To whet our appetites, they have shared this demo version of “Going To Town,” then called “Go To Town.”

Tomorrow, in Scene And Heard I’ll be doing a bit of a catch up with The Afghan Whigs bassist, John Curley.
