01 Sep Local Discovery of the Month: Tigerlilies

TigerliliesThey’ve been playing for three decades to a loyal following, but are still creating new sounds from their home base in Cincinnati, touring and consistently bringing new fans on board. September’s Local Discovery is The Tigerlilies — the band’s most recent EP, ‘123456’ is out this month and has garnered positive reviews:

“The Tigerlilies build an unusually affecting mix of classic rock rhythms and whip-smart indie pop intensity,” (source: Notes from Left of the Dial, Nooga.com).

“This Cincinnati group keeps the vibe alive and well with their punk, power pop, and melodic sound. Featuring brothers Pat (vocals, guitar) and Steve (vocals, drums) Hennessy, Brian Driscoll (bass), and Brendan Bogosian (lead guitar), the band has a vintage ’60s garage rock style that’ll take you back to a time when music ruled the world,” (source: axs.com).

Notable tracks include “Green Eyes,” and “Easy As It Seems.”
